Privacy policy
Last updated: 15 July 2026
The short version
- If you send an enquiry, I use your details to reply — nothing else.
- Analytics only runs if you click Accept on the cookie banner. Say no and no analytics cookie is ever set.
- Your details are never sold or passed on for marketing. No ads, no mailing lists you didn't ask for.
Who I am
Moran Digital is a web design studio for builders and tradespeople, based in Slough, UK, run by Max Moran. This site is morandigital.co.uk. For anything about your data, email Morandigital13@gmail.com.
The enquiry form
When you send an enquiry through the form, I receive what you typed — typically your name, contact details and message. It's delivered to my email inbox by Web3Forms, a form-delivery service that passes your message on and doesn't use it for anything else.
I use it only to reply to you about your enquiry. It's kept in my email for as long as we're in touch (or might be again), and it's never sold or shared for marketing.
Analytics — only if you say yes
I use Google Analytics 4 to see how many people visit and which parts of the site get used — no ads, no remarketing. It loads only after you click "Accept" on the cookie banner. If you click "No thanks" (or ignore the banner), Google Analytics never loads and no analytics cookies are set.
If you accept, Google Analytics sets cookies and collects things like pages viewed, rough location (town-level), device and browser type. Analytics data is retained for up to 14 months.
| Cookie / storage | What it does | How long |
|---|---|---|
| _ga, _ga_* | Google Analytics — tells repeat visitors apart (only set after you accept) | Up to 2 years |
| md-consent | Remembers your Accept / No thanks choice so the banner doesn't keep asking | Until you clear it |
Changed your mind?
Click below to reset your cookie choice. The banner will ask again, and you can pick differently.
Done — your choice has been reset. The banner will reappear.
Behind the scenes
Like almost every website, this one relies on a few services to work at all. When your browser loads the site, these services see your IP address as part of delivering their files — that's how the web works, not something extra I've added:
- Cloudflare Pages hosts the site and keeps standard server logs for security.
- Google Fonts serves the typefaces.
- jsDelivr serves the animation library.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law (UK GDPR) you can ask me what I hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, and object to how it's used. There's not much to hold — an enquiry email at most — but the rights are yours all the same. Email Morandigital13@gmail.com and I'll sort it.
If you think I've handled your data badly and I haven't fixed it, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes to this policy
If anything here changes — a new service, a new use of data — I'll update this page and the date at the top.
